WebI don’t find this sexual at all. If anything it’s showing how “well” these two subjects “fit” together. Honestly that's a perfect description of how I see this poem too, especially with the quotation marks. I don’t believe it’s erotic, or even romantic. The hook burst the eye, it’s invasive and violent.
