WebApr 11, 2024 · To start I'd say don't change any settings in PHD2. Just point the telescope to the meridian and celestial equator, and start guiding. It will go through a calibration first. Once it's done I would expect your guiding to be something around 1.0 RMS. At this point I'd say stop guiding and switch to "Predictive PEC" for the guiding algorithm.
