WebFeb 19, 2024 · We describe a case of hereditary hypophosphatemic rickets with hypercalciuria (HHRH) in a 32-year-old female with short stature, chronic pathologic genu valgum deformity, and knee pain who was referred to endocrinology clinic after previous inconclusive workups. We present imaging spanning 10 years of untreated disease. WebWe describe a cluster of children with rickets who presented with severe, disabling symptoms and skeletal deformities; and low 25OHD, raised PTH, and raised ALP levels consistent with calcipenic rickets. Treatment with vitamin D 3 and calcium carbonate resulted in considerable symptomatic, biochemical, and radiological improvement.
