Each individual’s course of life is decided already i.e. most of the major events such as life partner, parents, siblings, major accidents, cheating, debt, and disease are happening due to destiny. So fate is something that decides the major part of life. Webbthe past, themselves, serve our current narrative. We remember or even reconstruct memories that fit with what we think about ourselves now. Our reconstruction of our past and how it leads to what we are now is our best and only explanation.
